BCAA Leadership Club - Communication with Emotional Intelligence

Date/Time: Thursday 09th May 2013 (18:30 - 21:30)
Venue: UPF London HQ, 43 Lancaster Gate, London W2 3NA, UK

Of all the elements involved in effective communication, emotional intelligence and particularly empathy seems to be the component that is most powerful yet easily overlooked. According to Perspect, Emotional intelligence (EI) is our ability to identify, assess, control and manage our emotions and those of others. BCAA has invited Mr Reza Zolfagharifard, the manager of Perspect to present how to communicate effectively using emotional intelligence and to show you what Empathic Communication is and how emotional intelligence is central to better understanding, genuine rapport and increased efficiency.

“If your emotional abilities aren’t in hand, if you don’t have self-awareness, if you are not able to manage your distressing emotions, if you can’t have empathy and have effective relationships, then no matter how smart you are, you are not going to get very far.”

(Daniel Goleman)
